An integrated Creative/Art Director with over 16 years of industry experience.

Championing a holistic vision and the importance of integrating a creative vision across all media channels, commercial work encompasses online and offline projects. Including global digital campaigns for heavyweight brands to bespoke music packaging for niche artists.

Scott started his career by founding Juno, a multi-disciplinary agency focusing on the music industry, art-directing iconic sleeves for artists such as Arctic Monkeys, The Zutons and The Klaxons as well as corporate clients and cultural organisations. He went on to work for The Creative Corporation as creative director, producing digital campaigns for Red Bull, Harper Collins and Waitrose alongside viral campaigns and websites for catalogue artists such as John Lennon, Nirvana, Marvin Gaye. He now runs his own integrated agency working in music, leisure, retail, publishing and cultural industries.

Vast experience in all of the major production applications for print, web and film from Adobe in addition to many niche applications for the production of creative work. This also includes web languages such as HTML5, CSS3, PHP and Javascript/JQuery, knowledge of mobile app design and an expanding knowledge of emerging creative technologies such as Processing, Arduino, Raspberry Pi and Microsoft Kinect.

2013– 2106, Scott Jones Studio, Founder and Creative Director

Directing a number of Music and Branding projects producing integrated campaigns across all media channels; Physical, Digital & Social. This includes print based projects integrated with digital campaigns, web app projects, website design and build, email campaigns and social media management strategies.

Clients include House Worldwide (CP+B), Argos, BMG, Sony Music, Columbia Records, Alpha Music Publishing, 1965 Records, Big Life Management, Young Kato, Balsajo Black Garlic, Skowt Music App, Karousel Music.

Also worked with Telegraph Media Group on several digital marketing campaigns across their product range; most recently rebranding their Financial Services product suite.

2009 – 2013, The Creative Corporation, Creative Director

As Creative Director at The Creative Corporation developed interests in print and the internet with talented coders. Art-directed and managed many high profile websites, social network campaigns and videos for Red Bull, Harper Collins, Durex, Waitrose, Universal Records, Decca, Island Records and EMI.

2007 – 2009, BadFormat!, Founder and Creative Director

An interest in social networking, crowd sourcing and bringing the internet into the real world, led to the foundation of BadFormat!, a company championing the connection between the connection between online and offline. This manifested itself in a bi-monthly magazine that brought socio-political opinions out of social-networking sites into a printed publication. This also led to a bar/ venue that promoted on and offline communities, workshops, crowd-sourced events/lectures and workspace for the creative/music industries.

1999 – 2007, Juno, Founder and Creative Director

Creative Director and founder of Juno, art-directing a wide variety of projects for music industry clients including record sleeves, music promos, photography, events, web design, tv adverts, films, point of sale, branding, magazines, promotion, marketing, illustration, animation and merchandising.

Clients included Polydor, Deltasonic Records, Distiller Records, Vertigo, Wall Of Sound, Universal Music, Domino Records, Independiente, EMI, Mercury Records, Mute Records, Placid Casual, Epitaph, Interscope, Virgin Records, Moshi Moshi, EMI, Island and Sony/BMG.
